CMAT Registration Details 2025

The CMAT 2025 registration process has begun, and the National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the exam date as January 25, 2025. Candidates who wish to pursue an MBA from top B-Schools can register for the exam until December 13, 2024. The eligibility requirement for CMAT is a completed undergraduate degree.


The CMAT registration process for 2025 includes creating a login ID, filling out the application form, and submitting the required fees. The registration fee for CMAT is INR 2,500 for General Male candidates, and INR 1,250 for Female and Reserved Category candidates. Below are the key details about the CMAT 2025 registration and application process, including eligibility, fees, required documents, and the form correction procedure.

The CMAT 2025 registration process involves five essential steps:

  1. Online Registration

  2. Completing the CMAT Application Form 2025

  3. Uploading Scanned Photograph and Signature

  4. Payment of CMAT Fees

  5. Selecting the Test Centre


The exam fee for CMAT 2025 is to be paid online. Below is a step-by-step guide to the CMAT registration process:


STEP 1: Online Registration for CMAT 2025


  • Open the CMAT-NTA website in a new browser: https://exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT/

  • Click on 'Click here to login/register.'

  • The CMAT 2025 registration page will open.

  • Enter your details like name, date of birth, city, email ID, password, and mobile phone number.

  • Enter the OTP sent to your mobile number and click on 'Submit.'

  • A 12-digit application number will be generated and displayed.


STEP 2: Fill the CMAT Application Form


  • Log in again using your CMAT application number and password.

  • Fill in your academic details in the CMAT application form.

  • Provide other personal information and select your preferred test cities.

  • Review the information entered in the form, and make any necessary edits.

  • Once satisfied, submit the CMAT 2025 application form.


STEP 3: Upload Documents After filling in the CMAT application form, candidates will be required to upload the following documents:

  • Passport-sized photo

  • Signature

  • PwD certificate (if applicable)

STEP 4: Pay CMAT Application Fee


The CMAT application fee has been revised this year and must be paid online. Payment can be made through SBI/HDFC banking services, including debit/credit cards, net banking, or UPI/PAYTM services. Below is the category-wise CMAT application fee:

STEP 5: Choosing a Test City for CMAT 2025


During registration, candidates will need to select up to four preferred test cities from the list of 124 available options. These cities will be used to allocate the CMAT exam centre.

  • Once the test city is selected and submitted, it cannot be changed. Therefore, candidates should carefully choose their test cities.

  • The CMAT exam centre and test city will be mentioned on the CMAT admit card.

  • After paying the application fee, candidates must download the fee acknowledgment page and keep it for reference as proof of successful submission.


Documents Required for CMAT Registration 2025


To ensure accurate completion of the CMAT 2025 registration and application form, candidates should keep the following documents handy while filling out the form:

  • Class 10 mark sheet

  • Class 12 mark sheet

  • Graduation mark sheet

  • Caste certificate (if applicable)

  • PwD/DA certificate (if applicable)

  • Candidate’s signature on white paper

  • Recent passport-sized photograph (preferably against a white background)

  • Debit/credit card or net banking details for payment


For candidates who are in their final year of graduation, they can enter the average marks of the first two years in the CMAT 2025 application form after selecting the option indicating they are pursuing their graduation.


CMAT Application Process: Key Points to Remember


When filling out the CMAT 2025 application form, candidates should follow these important guidelines to ensure the form is completed correctly:

  1. Correct Information: Ensure all fields in the CMAT 2025 application form are filled with accurate details that can be validated by the authorities or institutes.

  2. City Selection: Select your preferred test centre cities carefully, keeping in mind your first preference for the CMAT 2025 exam centre.

  3. Application Confirmation: The application confirmation page will only be generated after the fee payment is completed.

  4. Fee Payment is Mandatory: The CMAT 2025 application process will remain incomplete without the payment of the application fee.

  5. Form Review: Double-check all the information entered in the form before submitting it, as once submitted, the form cannot be edited.

  6. Confirmation E-mail and SMS: After the successful fee payment, you will receive a confirmation email and SMS. If you don’t receive these, contact the examination office immediately.

  7. Preferred Web Browsers: Use Internet Explorer (version 11 and above), Mozilla Firefox (version 50 to 61), or Google Chrome (version 50 to 69) for a smoother registration experience.

  8. Avoid Smartphones: Do not fill the application form on a smartphone. Use a laptop or desktop for completing and submitting the CMAT application.
